Tomatoes are good source of vitamin A, B6, C and also vitamin E. Red tomatoes are also rich in dietary fibers . Tomato soup is really healthy and very delicious preparation,yet very simple to make art home.
- Red tomatoes 1Kg
- Black salt ¼ tsp
- White salt ½ tsp
- Black pepper ¼ tsp
- Sugar 1tbsp
- Butter/ Fresh cream 4 tsp
- Chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Method of preparation
- Wash the tomatoes, and cut them roughly. Boil the tomatoes in a cup of water with black salt until they get tender( or take a whistle in the pressure cooker) .
- Allow them to cool . Blend the boiled tomatoes in the blender and sieve them properly. Add more water if needed to get the required constituency.
- Boil the blended tomato for 10 minutes add sugar, black pepper and white salt.
- Top hot tomato soup with butter or fresh cream. Garnish with chopped coriander at the time of serving.
Tomato soup is ready to serve. Enjoy hot tomato soup .
Add little more sugar in case if tomatoes are very sour in taste.
