Lucknow style Green Chutney

This green chutney is a Lucknow speciality and is specially made to accompany kebabs. It is a little different than regular coriander chutney and is a modified version of mint chutney. This chutney is a good source of iron, and calcium. So try this out with kebabs and let me know your feedback.......

Ingredients
(makes about ½ cup)

  • Coriander leaves ½ cups
  • Mint leaves ½ cup 
  • Green chilles 1-2
  • Salt  ¼ tsp
  • Yogurt  3-4 tbsp

Method of preparation

  1. Wash coriander and mint leaves thoroughly.
  2. Remove the stem of green chillies and wash them.
  3. Make a fine paste of coriander leaves, mint leaves, & green chillies in the mixer/ blender, add little water if needed.
  4. Now add yogurt and salt and grind the chutney again for 5-6 seconds. 

Lakhwani Green chutney is ready. Transfer the chutney in a glass bowl.
