Diwali- The Festival of Lights!!

Dear Readers,

Diwali or Deepawali is populaly known as Festival of Lights. It is a five day long festival that starts with Dhanteras, and is followed by Choti Diwali (Narak Chaudas), Diwali, Govardhan Pooja (Padeva) and Bhai dooj. As per Lunar calender Diwali falls on the dark night (Amavasya) of Kartik month.

Detailss of Diwali festival-

Dhanteras is on Oct 17th
Narak Chaudas is on Oct 18th
Diwali is on Oct 19th
Annakoot/ Padwa will be on Oct 20th
And Bhai Dooj is on Oct 21st

Diwali spirit is on. We had a potluck royal dinner which has papdi chaat, vegetarian kebabs, dum aloo, paneer butter masala, mix vegetable curry, panchmel dal, parathe, rice, and a lot more. For Diwali we will be making some delicious traditional Indian delicacies.
