How to make mint powder

Mint is an exclusive perennial herb. Mint leaves are a good coolant and world wide famous for its medicinal values. Mint has an important place in Indian cuisine.

Ingredients


dried mint leaves
  • Mint leaves   1 bouquet 
  • Clean cloth to spread the leaves 

Method of preparation

  1. Remove the thick stem and wash the mint leaves thoroughly. Leave the leaves on the sieve to drain the water.
  2. On a clean cloth or paper spread the leaves to dry up. avoid to keep under the sun.(takes around 1 day to dry up the leaves completely)
  3. Make the powder of dried leaves in the grinder or crush the leaves with the fingers.

    Store mint powder in the airtight container.


Mint powder is a key ingredient for Raita, and other yogurt preparations.
